Save the "working" palette in palette editor 
it was saving the picture palette, ie palette before
any modification in the palette dialog.

it was returning things like
C:\TEMP\grafx2\test-à__??????\
instead of the ASCII short path :
C:\TEMP\grafx2\TEST-_~1\
